2017 has been a special year:

Bacon Me Crazy is name couldn't be a better description of who they are and what they do. BMC takes Comfort Classics and Tops, Wraps and Smother them in America's favorite treat.. BACON!!! This Licensed and Insured Food Vendor & Caterer couldn't be more serious about "Bringin' The Bacon"

Although they built their business on one of The Delaware's most sought after River Towns, New Hope, Pennsylvania, they returned back to their roots in New Jersey in 2014 to build the brand. With a seasonal location at The Lutze Biergarten in Jersey City and Pop Up's at Beer & Food Truck Festivals all over the Tri-State area, BMC has started to make their mark in their industry. Our philosophy is "If there's Beer, there better be Bacon"





Kath & Mike both grew up in Westfield, NJ. Before becoming a couple in 2010 they both worked corporate jobs and considered themselves skilled home cooks. 

Shortly after meeting they moved into a warehouse apartment that didn't have a oven. Their only way to cook was on their BBQ grill.  They constantly challenged themselves to do it all.. yup, on the grill.

After relocating to New Hope, PA for Mike's job, Kath founded Kath's Catering. Her menu focused on Farm to Table Backyard BBQ's, while Mike began to learn the ropes of Competitive Barbecuing. Soon after, they were hired to caterer for the bands & crew of The Mountain Jam & Taste of Country Music Festival's in Hunter, NY. Although star struck, they fed bands like The Allman & Avett Brother's, Hank Willam's Jr, Brad Paisley, Damien Marley, Bob Weir and hundred's of others. With help from local Chef's and special help from childhood friends in the industry, they completed their first catering job (Over 12,000 meals in two weeks) Yup, their first catering job...

This opportunity opened their eyes to the Food Truck & Food Vending Scene happening at Festivals. Mike and Kath realized that their love of people, outdoor events, and bbq could be rolled up into one truly amazing business. Mike decided after 20 years working in the Medical Device industry, they would develop their food business together, After bringing their BBQ to a Bacon Festival, a lightbulb went off... BACON would be the star of their menu. "We loved how excited people were to eat bacon, more then any other food we'd ever experienced. It was that moment we decided to dedicate our entire menu to combine our love of bbq, comfort food and Bacon!" 

Since then, Kath and Mike have opened a seasonal location in the "#1 Foodie City's to Watch"  Jersey City, NJ inside the Lutze Beer Garden. They have also brought the Bacon to 100's of Beer & Food Festivals from tip of Long Island, through NYC & Pennsylvania, down to the Jersey Shore.  And there's no stop in sight!
