We also received the People's Choice Award at NJ's biggest Beer, Bourbon & Bacon Event.

Kath & Mike both grew up in Westfield, NJ. Before becoming a couple in 2010, they both worked corporate jobs and considered themselves skilled home cooks.

Shortly after meeting, they moved into a warehouse apartment that didn't have an oven. Their only way to cook was on their BBQ grill. They constantly challenged themselves to do it all. Yes, on the grill!

After relocating to New Hope, PA, for Mike's job, Kath founded Kath's Catering. Her menu focused on Farm to Table Backyard BBQ, while Mike began to learn the ropes of Competitive Barbecuing. Soon after, they were hired as the band and staff to caterer for The Mountain Jam Festival and Taste of Country Music Festival in Hunter, NY. Although star-struck, they fed bands like The Allman & Avett Brother's, Hank Willam's Jr, Brad Paisley, Damien Marley, Bob Weir, along with hundreds of other staff and crew members. These events were their first catering job. Yes, the first catering job they had included over 12,000 meals in two weeks!

This opportunity opened their eyes to the Food Truck & Food Vending Scene happening at Festivals. Mike and Kath realized that their love of people, outdoor events, and bbq could be a truly fantastic business. Mike was hooked and left his position after 20 years working in the Medical Device industry, Kath and Mike would develop their food business together. After bringing their BBQ to a Bacon Festival, a lightbulb went off... BACON would be the star of their menu. "We loved how excited people were to eat Bacon, more then any other food we'd ever experienced. It was that moment we decided to dedicate our entire menu to combine our love of bbq, comfort food, and Bacon!"

They have also brought the Bacon to 100's of Beer & Food Festivals from the tip of Long Island, through NYC & Pennsylvania, down to the Jersey Shore. And there's no stop in sight!
